Mediumship

A person with psychic medium abilities is able to communicate to those who have passed over. They can bridge the gap from our material world to the spirit realms.

Communications is done by using energy, thoughts and vibrations. A spirit can impress their thoughts and emotions to a medium. The medium acts like a telephone receiver, they pick up these messages and pass them onto the person still here on this plain.

Many spirits love to communicate to those left here, one of the many things they wish to convey through the medium to their loved ones is that they are indeed ok.

People wishing to have communication with their loved ones now passed over can do so by visiting a medium. Many people have lots of questions for those that have departed this plain and sometimes spirit will answer some of them. Sometimes they may not due to the fact it isn’t the right time, maybe not the right time for the spirit to answer a certain question or possibly it isn’t the right time for the living relative to hear the answer. Spirit will communicate when they feel the time is right.

There are various types of mediumship:

Clairvoyance - This means clear seeing, some mediums may have this ability along with other psychic abilities. A medium with this ability has the ability to see spirit. They may see spirit with their physical eyes or may see spirit in their mind. Clairaudience - This means clear hearing. A medium may have this ability and is able to hear spirit clearly. Some mediums may hear voices as though they are physically being spoken in their ear or they may hear the voices in their mind.

Clairsentience - This means clear feeling. A medium with ability is able to feel or sense spirit. A spirit will impress an emotion and a clairsentience medium will actually feel that emotion. For instance a spirit may impress on the medium how they actually passed ie a heart condition. The medium in this instance would feel a strong pressure on their own heart area.

This type of medium may also sense smells and fragrances. If the spirit communicator was a smoker the clairsentience medium would smell the tobacco. Trance - This type of mediumship is when the medium will actually taken over by a spirit. The mediums features may change and their voice may change.

When spirit links with a medium, the spirit communicator exerts various degrees of control, or overshadows the consciousness of the medium to a greater or lesser degree. This varies, depending upon the intent and conditions of communication, as well as the ability of the medium to lend himself or herself to be overshadowed or controlled.

Psychics

Everyone is psychic; we are all born with this ability. But to whether we choose to recognise this and want it, it is up to us. Some people do indeed wish to develop their psychic abilities; others on the other hand wish to ignore it.

It also depends on our upbringing as children to whether we wish to carry on using our psychic abilities, a lot depends on the parents and how they were brought up. Some parents understand and encourage their children about such things; some deplore any such things only because really themselves they were brought up that way not to believe.

All children are psychic, but as I said earlier a lot depends on how they are brought up. A child is full of innocence and will openly tell you what they see or sense. It is not until they enter the world of science and logic that they begin to question such things. When we start to question doubt creeps in and we begin to search for logical scientific answers.

There is a difference between psychics and mediums. A psychic reader is able to read the energy and what ever is presence in the living person’s aura. The aura is the energy field that surrounds our entire body, everything we have ever said, done or thought is recorded in our auras. A psychic is very sensitive person and they can pick up the energy that they sense from that aura.

A psychic can also read any energy that has been left impressed on any inanimate objects. In other words they can hold an object and feel any impressions and vibrations left on it, this is called psychomentry. Everything around us is made up of energy.

All mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums.

Psychics use tools to focus and give readings, like tarot cards or like the inanimate objects as mentioned earlier. When ever someone holds something then lets it go they leave an energy imprint on that object, no matter how long ago they held it the energy around the object will still be there, a good psychic can pick up on this energy and so therefore give a reading from it to the sitter.

A medium does not use tools, a medium tunes into the energy that they sense around them, they are like telephone receivers, they pick up the thoughts and vibrations from those discarnate souls that are no longer on our material earth plain.

A medium has no tools, they just pass on any messages that spirit may be giving them to the sitter receiving the reading. A medium bridges the gap between our material earth plane to the spirit realms.

Tools

tools are things that mediums or psychics use to do their work, these vary enormously with what best suits the individual using them, but can be things such as crystal balls, tarot, scrying,runes and such like.None of them bring through spirit they are merely there to assist the individual using them to connect hence the name tools.
