~ We ask that all staff deal with visitors to peacefulsouls
in a helpful, polite and courteous manner, any staff found causing upset to members or other staff members shall be dealt
with appropriately by site owners, especially if this takes place in public chat rooms;
~ We ask that if staff are unsure
of a conversation with a community room, or something is occuring that does not feel right, that they ask a senior staff
(TL) or owner for advice as soon as possible;
~ We ask that staff keep a watchful eye on visitors and conversations
where possible and to ensure that the atmosphere stays a friendly and enjoyable one, so that all visitors will enjoy the site
as much as we do ourselves, and not to make the situation any worse; if unsure, again ask a senior member of staff should
you have any concerns;please make sure that if you are talking to friends of yours that the convo still includes regular members,
as sometimes you can get so engrossed in a convo you are forgetting other members and theyre being ignored/excempt from the
conversation so they get bored and they leave, any personal conversations regarding family/general chit chat between 2 people
should take place on msn or out of the community chat, the site chat is for site/spiritual chat and its a place
for people to learn and grow spiritually, make sure the conversations are about subjects that all members can join in.
~ We would like our staff to keep other staff updated regarding
events, problems etc that they may have come across; remember communication is everything and the key factor where staffing
is concerned ,with this said all staff should log into team lounge whenever in site- at all times !, the point of the staff
room is to let you know as soon as possible of any concerns/issues that cannot be said in rooms, if you arent in the team
lounge you could miss out on updates/issues or concerns which doesnt enable you to staff to the best ability;
~ We would like our staff to encourage other users to take part
and enjoy themselves, as much as they would wish, but not to pressure or bully users/other staff into doing something
they do not wish to or make others upset, angry or uncomfortable; make everyone feel comfortable and welcome without prejudice,
bring them into conversation, encourage them to learn, ask them what their interests are, support with any problems/queries
they have, and if you dont know the answers it is better to say you will find out for them and let them know than just to
say you dont know , by asking other people /senior staff etc maybe someone else can help and that member will respect you
for trying to get them the answers as well as showing that you are doing the best of your ability as a staff member;
~ We would like our staff to attend regular staff meetings whereby
any concerns can be tabled and discussed. We would like all staff to be happy in what they do on site, and we welcome any
ideas that you may have which would help the site to grow, and be the best it can be; remember a site is only as good as its
staff. We would also like our staff to feel proud of the site that they have helped to create and maintain, all staff promotions
will be discussed and agreed with the owners, and the promotions are totally at the owners disgression, as are demotions
and can be addressed without prior warning;
~ We would like staff to feel that they are an integral part of
an essential and loyal team, what you may do for others may not mean a lot to you, but it means a lot more to those who depend
upon it. We hope that you will all work together in spiritual harmony and show others by example, the way we desire the site
to be. Should any problems arise between staff, we hope that this would be brought to the attention of senior members as soon
as possible in order that it may be resolved. Remember, visitors pick on vibrations, therefore it is paramount that the
only ones they pick up are good ones, as these will reflect on all of us as a growing site;
~ We request that staff do not talk about other staff or members/staff without
good intent via MSN, or telephone as this creates a bad and unworkable atmosphere, creating negative energy around the site.
Should you be on MSN with friends, it is essential that other staff are aware of this and able to cover, so that the
site can remain actively monitored,having said this any staff members holding a class should ensure that when holding
any classes they are not distracted, if you are doing a class and chatting on msn or distracted by issues at home(ie family
, phonecalls, msn etc) you cannot be teaching adequately and if members think you arent taking it seriously they wont
either, similalry if something happens beyond your control when teaching (ie you need to answer the phone) its not a good
idea to let the room know just try and end the phonecall and get back to teaching asap, if members think youre answering the
phone /chatting elsewhere, they wont try as hard to attend classes and concentrate- after all whats the point! put yourselves
in their shoes), if you cannot attend please let somebody know that you will be away so we can cover your absence, this keeps
lines of communication open between team members;
~ Finally, and most importantly, we ask staff not to be rude,
impolite, or act in any manner or way, that is not spiritual to any members or other staff, and that appropriate language
is used on site at all times
